Marine Sightseeing Tours on the Sunshine Coast of BC, CanadaIn summer 2010 most of our Princess Louisa Inlet tours will principally run on the Eagle, a chartered 12 passenger boat. Built as a "tour boat" she is expected to deliver a fast, comfortable ride with more convenience than a simple water taxi. Somel groups may enjoy the intimacy of M.V. B-line. She is fast and comfortable and built to operate in these big Inlets. She handles the afternoon chop exceptionally well. Both of these boats can get in close to shore and view all the interesting features of Jervis Inlet as we travel to Princess Louisa Inlet or follow a custom design route for a charter group.. As well as being scheduled on many of the tour departures the boats are available for charter for group programs or transportation jobs. Note: Alternate vessels may be substituted, depending on circumstances. We've got more photos available for viewing in a separate gallery. Click here.
The Bline has inside seating, on padded bench seats. She is laid out with a short cabin and large back deck. The back deck area is open, surrounded by handrails. Large side windows down the length of the cabin trunk allow good visibility from inside. Bline has a deep vee design that gives her excellent sea keeping characteristics and stability. Her very low profile and center of gravity ensure stability in all normal weather conditions. Pound for pound, she is one of the very best boats in the area! The Bline is capable of carrying up to 4000 lbs of passenger or cargo. She will cruise light at 25 knots. As a smaller vessel she is much more sensitive to weight and load characteristics. Moving around on board during travel should be done slowly and carefully. The maximum number of passengers allowed, regardless of weight is 12. More commonly we limit the passenger count to 8 in foul weather or 10 in fine weather.
