The Sunshine Coast Tour Boats

In summer 2011 our Princess Louisa Inlet tours will run on small passenger vessels. Maximum capacity of this class of vessel is 12 passengers. The Bline, shown here is typical of this style of boat. You will likely enjoy the intimacy of this size of group. The boats are fast and and built to operate in these big Inlets. They handle the afternoon chop exceptionally well. Our boats can get in close to shore and view all the interesting features of Jervis Inlet as we travel to Princess Louisa Inlet or follow a custom design route for a charter group.

The rigid hull inflatable boat offers higher speed and more adventure. We feel it's too open for a long run like the trip to Princess Louisa Inlet. Our RHiB runs on the 2 hour tour program we run out of Nanaimo.

As well as being scheduled on many of the tour departures the boats are available for charter for group programs or transportation jobs.

The Bline has inside seating, on padded bench seats. She is laid out with a short cabin and large back deck. The back deck area is open, surrounded by handrails. Large side windows down the length of the cabin trunk allow good visibility from inside.

The Bline is capable of carrying up to 4000 lbs of passenger or cargo. She will cruise at 25 knots. As a smaller vessel she is much more sensitive to weight and load characteristics. Moving around on board during travel should be done slowly and carefully. The maximum number of passengers allowed, regardless of weight is 12.

This RIB is made by Lifetimer. It has two 150 horsepower outboards, and will run at 25 knots. We picked it up believing some people want a shorter, more exciting ride. You'll cover a lot of ground in a short time. It's a real blast, with wind in the face and the taste of saltwater spray.
